The Ladies 4s returned to Letchworth this week, facing off against Blueharts 7s.
Under a barrage of rain, Frances scored the first goal of the game within minutes. A second Letchworth goal was disallowed, with Blueharts 7s working hard to keep any other Letchworth goals at bay.
The second half was all Letchworth, with five of the six goals scored in the final 25 minutes of the game. Gemma, Sarah and Shelly each scored a goal, with MOM Lucinda scoring another two.
Blueharts 7s also had a few opportunities. These chances were thwarted by the Letchworth defence who worked hard throughout the entire game to secure the team’s first clean sheet of the season.
