It's the new season!

A message from the new chair, plus details on how to pay subs.

It’s great to be back playing hockey again!

Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who have registered for Teamo and for GMS to play this season. I know that it’s been an extra effort, but it’s really appreciated by everyone involved in running the club as we think this should make all our lives easier. Luckily, I think that’s the last the most of you will have to interact with GMS, it’s just the captains and umpires who can continue the enjoyable ride.

Secondly, I’d to welcome the new captains, vice captains and volunteers who have stepped up to help this season It’s only recently that I’ve realised quite how much work goes on behind the scenes to get us all on the pitch at the weekends - so thank you to everyone who is willing to help

Finally, people have been asking about membership/ subs. Ideally we’d like payment via bank transfer as the club pays lower transaction fees, There is also an option to pay via Teamo if you prefer. In the AGM we agreed to increase subs and match fees due to higher running costs, but if anyone feels these fees will be problem, please have a word with your captain or a member of the. committee as we want to make sure as many people as possible can enjoy hockey.

Membership Prices: These can be found in Teamo, by tapping on your initials on the top left of the app, and selecting payments. E.g. if you tap on Senior membership you’ll see that it’s £175 for Full membership or £100 for student/unemployed.
