Big day for Letchworth against our local rivals Blue hearts. We started the game with high intensity and drive which was talked before the game. After breaking down Blue hearts defence we won a short corner in the 16th minute where Adam scored comfortably to make it 1-0. Blue Hearts decided to turn things up and go 1-1 from a short corner flick which was taken well. This didn’t stop Letchworths flow as a short corner was won shortly after. This payed off as Charlie gets the rebound and puts it away leaving us 2-1 up at half time. Coming into the second half we stayed strong in tackles, passed the ball around making Blue Hearts play our game and this was tiring them out. In the 55th minute another short corner was won for Letchworth. Dave smashed the ball in the corner and we were 3-1 up. Towards the end Blue Hearts got another chance at goal from a short corner and they hit net making it 3-2 from a cheap mistake. Letchworth took the 3 points happily after a great game from everyone.
