Another away game for the Letchworth men’s 2s, everyone eager to get a win before a week off next week. The game against Broxbourne 3s got off to a great start holding the ball well and dishing it around the line of defence. Frustratingly we conceded a couple of goals in this half due to a range of mistakes we started making as the half went on. However continued on to win multiple short corners, with one of those injected by George and drilled in to the bottom corner by Colin. Shortly between the goal and the half time whistle Letchworth lost energy and focus and made a series of mistakes due to a lack of man marking and decision making leading to us conceding another goal just before half time.

After a wake up call at half time Letchworth woke up and improved their performance with Adam showing his skill carrying the ball through the midfield leading to some great balls being put into the D. Sadly we lacked a man on the far post to deflect these in. In the last 10 minutes of the game Rich sent a ball to the back post and was slapped into the far corner by Ben.

We walked away from this loss gutted knowing had we have turned up from the beginning we could have got at least a point from the game.
