Letchworth travelled away to face a strong Crostyx side, and the game started with real intensity from both teams. Early on, Letchworth settled into possession and began to move the ball confidently across the pitch.

A sharp attacking move saw the ball worked into the D, where Lucy stepped up with a moment of pure class. Spotting the smallest gap in the top corner, she fired a stunning shot that soared past the keeper—an absolutely beautiful finish that put Letchworth 1–0 up.

After halftime, Crostyx came out with renewed pressure. They pushed high, forcing turnovers and testing the defence. Despite some strong tackling and big saves, Crostyx managed to find their rhythm and converted three chances in the second half.
