After we were wondering whether we were going to get a game, we got to play in a freezer. Yay!! It was a very even match, lots of back and forth. Also lots of dance moves whilst trying to stay upright on a slippy service. Aiming to get outcomes in a short second short corner, we came good with a perfectly positioned goal from Zanna in the 30th minute. Stortford came back stronger in the second half and we conceded a cheeky goal after much pressure on defence. Special mention to Carrie for using every part of her body to keep the ball away. Entering the last 10 mins of the game, we managed to take advantage of the ball in the attacking area. After some great passing Lesley scored a cracking goal for us to get the win. Great play from everyone. Special mention also goes to Rebekah our man of the match for excellent ball control and being in the right place. Well done everyone.
