The Ladies 2s faced a fast and determined Rickmansworth 1s at home, taking the opposition by surprise with a decisive victory. Despite Rickmansworth sitting higher in the table, Letchworth set the tone early with a sharp finish from Fran H in the 9th minute.
From there, the team maintained relentless pressure and pace, closing the first half 3–0 thanks to further goals from Harriet and Fran V. Rickmansworth came out strong after the break, forcing some solid defensive work from the Letchworth back line, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
Second-half goals from Rach C and another from Harriet sealed an emphatic 5-0 win. A standout performance from Holly earned her Player of the Match, rounding off a true team effort that lifts the Ladies 2s to third in the table - currently boasting the best goal difference in the league.
