From the first whistle, Letchworth showed immense grit and dominated possession for large spells of the game. The midfield worked tirelessly to control the tempo, linking up well with the forwards and creating numerous scoring opportunities. However, luck wasn’t on our side, as several promising chances narrowly missed the target or were denied by some excellent goalkeeping from the opposition.

Defensively, the team held strong for the majority of the match, just allowing 1 goal to slip past in the second half.

While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, the performance was full of positives. The team’s determination, teamwork, and fighting spirit were evident throughout, and there’s plenty to build on going forward.

Player of the Match: Anna had a great performance holding the midfield strong throughout the game.
