Letchworth Ladies 1s fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at home against a sharp Bedford Ladies 2s side. Bedford started strongly, capitalising on early pressure to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
Letchworth responded well in the second half, tightening up defensively and pushing forward with greater urgency. Their efforts were rewarded when Ellie fired home a drag flick from a short corner to reduce the deficit. Despite a late surge and several close chances, Letchworth couldn’t find the equaliser, as Bedford held firm to secure the win.
