Letchworth Men’s 2s took on Bedford 4’s at home. Letchworth started strong, dominating position and creating chances, but went behind against the run of play after a lapse in concentration at the back let Bedford in to go 1-0 ahead. Letchworth continued to dominate the game for the remaiming half.
After half time Letchworth came out strong Ollie Roger’s equalising with a poacher’s finish to go with his man of the match performance. Letchworth continued to create chances in the 2nd half but again went behind against the run of play with Beford scoring thanks to an unlucky deflection creating an opening which Bedford took advantage of.
The loss leaves Letchworth 2’s in the middle of the table.
